COA Statement on Drug Pricing Executive Orders

Progress on Fixing the PBM and 340B Problems

On July 27, President Trump signed four executive orders intended to lower drug prices for consumers. These orders range over several topics, including pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), the 340B Drug Pricing Program, insulin costs, and more. COA Executive Director Ted Okon released a statement addressing these orders and offering support for future action to rein in PBMs and fix the 340B program.

In a time of changing regulations and pandemic restrictions, access to a network of like-minded professionals is crucial to success.
